Part of the Export department, you will directly report to its Director. You will BE based in our Lyon headquarters, but represent the Toys & Collectibles business in Middle East & Africa. You will BE responsible for managing distributors and wholesalers, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales and trade marketing opportunities; as well as expanding the business in Middle East.
Your main responsibilities will include (non-exhaustive list) :
- Manage on a daily-basis centralized clients and distributors at national or regional level for all the products of our portfolio.
- Negotiate and coordinate promotional activities according to Spring and Fall seasons as well as special seasons and local events.
- Manage the back-office work : listing sheets, price list, follow up the demands of the customers.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Formulate, recommend, and execute the strategic planning and delivery of Customer in-store permanent and promotional point of sale programs, in collaboration with the local distributors.
- Attend the international toy fairs and local comic conventions.
Due to the responsibilities of this role, you will BE expected to travel abroad regularly (30% to 50% of your time)
Profil
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the Middle East market, in FMCG
- Knowledge of channels and customers dynamics to improve the quality of our commercial propositions
- High command of English, as well as Arabic
- Capable of working independently and able to manage own workload
- Negotiation skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Analytical skills
- Good communication - ability to provide valuable information related to the project status in a timely and effective manner
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, client, presentation and written/verbal communication skills
- Affinity for Japanese and anime/manga culture
- Knowledge and passion for toys is a plus
- Willingness to travel
