The Product Manager's responsibility is to drive maximum value from Entra offerings, while maintaining a strategic focus on the VESA tenant.
- Vision & enterprise architecture
- Step back on application & system architecture, formalizes and consolidates the transversal vision on tools & system
- Lead or participate to study and design work to impulse mutualisation
- Lead or participate in vision build
- Strong interaction with Cloud strategy team to feed them with ground needs & benefit from them
- Service Delivery Management
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, leveraging user feedback and data-driven insights to drive iterative improvements
- Formalize the business model, review and update the delivery model, establish a deployment strategy, implement a fail-fast approach with prototypes and tests
- Ensure Office CTO requirements are met. If necessary organize delegation to manage those topics
- Update the products referenced on Veolia's internal marketplace and create new spaces for future tools
- Support L2, L3 : In support of the business, provide a second level of support by accompanying the local IS&T in its investigations
- Rely on internal expertises to ensure the delivery of a product of a good level in Product design
- Follow day to day necessary delivery and or follow suppliers by ensuring Service Delivery Manager Role in addition to Product Manager Role. Coordination with SDM when the role already exist
- The Product Manager is also accountable for effective Feature Request Backlog management, which includes :
- Defining and explicitly communicating the Product Goal
- Creating and clearly communicating Feature Request Backlog items
- Ordering Feature Request Backlog items
- Ensuring that the Feature Request Backlog is transparent, visible and understood
- Organizing backlog management, milestone & decision path
- Governance
- He/She will BE integrated in the Cloud Platform's PM community and will BE integrated in Microsoft Governance
- Participate in exchanges with all stakeholders : BU, IS&T Members and Suppliers
- Analyze user behavior in order to contribute to the sharing of best practices with members of the PO community
- Produce the reporting elements for the scope of activity for the various projects and products under his/her responsibility
Knowledge management
- Accompany the BU in the deployment of solutions and document the processes
- Maintain reference central documentation & knowledge tool set to ensure quality of service
- Project management
- Lead or contribute to project
- Test : Manage and/or realize User acceptance test
- Technological surveillance
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices through technology research
- Identify the main competitors and define the product's plus points in relation to the competition
- Share his knowledge with goodwill to helps people to grow
help & support people including non tech to understand. BE accessible & collaborate cross function
- Collaborate with the software asset manager and the Microsoft vendor manager
- Share with the SAM & maintain the BU contact list, a communication channel with BUs, the up to date purchasing volume products list (inventory), the up to date product consumption and projections
- Prepare the QBR with Microsoft
- Work closely with the SAM to understand the licensing models, metrics, and requirements for his/her specific software product, and provide guidance on optimal licensing strategies to support adoption
- Collaborate with the SAM to ensure that the software is properly supported to facilitate adoption
- Leverage the product usage data to identify areas where adoption can BE improved, understand user behavior and pain points, and prioritize training initiatives to drive better adoption
- Provide input on product roadmaps, feature requirements, and user feedback to inform procurement decisions and vendor negotiations
